secondary antibodies. This solution prevents the loss of diluted antibody binding capacity and
maintains the conformation of the antibody portion. This enables the making of ready-to-use
antibody, minimizing assay errors in antibody binding activity and increased signal to noise ratio
that improves assay performance

Composition & Properties

This product is a ready to use and contains buffered saline, and proprietary reagents to stabilize,
preserve diluted antibody binding capacity. Proclin 300 is used as preservative that is azide and
mercury free. It is suitable for ELISA, Western Blot, Southern/Northern Blots, and lateral flow.

Handling & Storage

  • Store solution at 2-8 °C. Avoid exposure to light.

Working Procedure

  1. The desired amount of ready to use antibody diluent and stabilizer solution is poured into a
    container and allowed to reach room temperature. Add desired volume of antibody to make
    final dilution.
  2. Add 25 µl of diluted antibody followed by 100 µl of compatible enzyme conjugate in second
    antibody coated micro titre well. Keep for 60 minutes at room temperature. Wash the wells and
    add compatible substrate to assess binding capacity.

Stability Data

The efficacy of ready to use antibody diluent and stabilizer was verified by accelerated study that
included dilution of medroxy-progesterone acetate (MPA) antibody in it and testing the binding
efficiency of MPA-antibody by ELISA. The result indicate retaining of 99% of its activity after
three months at 37°C as shown below.
